What Can You Buy With Your Foreign Card?

Here’s what’s available right away! 🎫 The new kiosks will support the Seoul Climate Card, which offers UNLIMITED use of buses and subways within Seoul. Short-term passes ranging from one day to seven days are also available — perfect for tourists! Depending on demand, the city plans to expand to include a 30-day pass too. Just note that a 3.7% service fee applies to overseas card transactions.

How to Use the New System

Using the system is super simple! 📱 Find one of the new kiosks at any station on Lines 1-8, select your preferred card type (Climate Card or short-term pass), tap your overseas credit or debit card, and you’re good to go! You can also use Kakao Pay or Naver Pay if you have those set up. It’s designed to be intuitive even for first-time visitors to Korea!
