Attention all European and Canadian travelers — entering Korea just got SO much easier! ✈️🇰🇷 Starting Monday, South Korea expanded access to its automated immigration clearance gates to travelers from the European Union, Schengen member states, and Canada. The eligible country list has jumped from 18 to 42! No more standing in those long immigration lines — just scan and go!

Which New Countries Are Now Eligible?

Here’s the full list of newly added countries! 🗺️ Nineteen EU members have been added: Greece, Denmark, Latvia, Romania, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Malta, Belgium, Bulgaria, Sweden, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ireland, Estonia, Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, and Poland. Four non-EU Schengen countries — Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Iceland — are also included, plus Canada! That’s a LOT of new passports getting the fast-track treatment!

Why Did Korea Make This Move?
